Brunswick secures spot at top of Hemscott fourth quarter rankings guide

The City agency increased its FTSE 100 total to 29, a rise of one since the last update and the highest total since Hemscott records began. Finsbury remains in second place with 17 FTSE clients and FD is third with eleven.
 
Those positions are replicated in a list of total-listed clients by market cap, with Maitland and Tavistock Communications coming fourth and fifth respectively.
 
FD remains top of the tables for advisers to AIM firms, FTSE 250 clients and all listed clients in terms of volume.
 
FD advises 39 FTSE 250 clients, ahead of Brunswick in second with 22 and Maitland with 20.
 
For total listed-clients by volume, FD has 172 – a figure over double that of its nearest rival Buchanan with 84 and Pelham Bell Pottinger with 82.
