Opening on Manchester's Market Street, the store will replace the existing shop operating in the iconic Arndale Centre.
An advertising campaign promoting the launch started this week across outdoor and press, with further activity planned post-launch to drive footfall in the build-up to Christmas. Media planning and buying has been handled by PHD North.
More than four times the size of the existing store, the additional space will be used to sell collections, accessories and gifts, in addition to kit and training products.
Kitbag will also open multichannel sale points with an online platform.
