Publicis Groupe has rebranded its global PR operations under the MSL banner. This means that former global PR networks MS&L and Publicis Consultants, plus a number of speciality comms agencies, become part of MSL Group. However, Freud Communications is not affected.
The CIPR has announced Staniforth MD Rob Brown and Sally Sykes, Health & Safety Executive comms director, as the candidates for the professional body's 2011 president elect. The successful candidate will take up their position alongside the 2011 CIPR president Paul Mylrea on 1 January.
Sellafield, the company created from BNFL, has hired former Rolls-Royce PRO Gordon Welsh as head of employee comms.
The Ritz has appointed Amber Aldred, the Mandarin Oriental's advertising manager, to head comms. She joins as PR manager.
Amarula Cream Liqueur has retained Lucid UK to develop a UK comms campaign.
