Retrak appoints Souter PR for Manchester Police Ethiopia trip

20 volunteers from Greater Manchester Police will travel to Ethiopia next month to help children as young as 7 who are living on the streets of Addis Ababa.

The volunteers will also be delivering sports coaching for the children as well as training the staff in several areas including trauma counselling.

Retrak helps street children to return to life in a caring and stable family environment, either with their own family, foster family or by living independently in the community.

Souter PR MD Sue Souter said the agency would be ‘building awareness of their critical fundraising and hands-on support’.

Souter’s PR support will focus on raising the profile of the volunteers who are taking part, telling their stories and supporting their fundraising and community engagement activities.
