PUBLIC SECTOR: Cawley quits Surrey for PWC recruitment role

Surrey County Council communications head Alison Cawley is to take up a role at the public sector recruitment section of professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). She joins in November to work alongside head of public sector recruitment Hamish Davidson. Surrey plans to appoint a recruitment consultancy later this month to fill the role. Tim Edwards, who is currently media relations manager, will be acting communications head in the interim, reporting to CEO Paul Coen.
