The changes to its marketing operation have been precipitated by changes to AXA’s wealth business, which has been spun out as a separate regulated company.
This follows the completion of the sale of its UK life insurance business to Resolution, the company set up in 2008 to buy and combine a number of life insurance companies.
The role of Cheryl Toner, AXA’s UK chief marketing officer, has now been expanded to lead the development of AXA Wealth. She will focus on the marketing and branding of the unit.
Toner has held a number of roles at AXA and has been responsible for the overall development of its marketing, brand and communications strategy.
