One of the best ways of getting news about the impact of industrial action by London Underground workers was by following #tubestrike. Looking at the tweets, it was also obvious that the RMT had lost the hearts-and-minds battle with particular criticism focused on Bob Crow and his reputed £133,000 annual pay packet. TIME FOR REFLECTION

The Jewish festival of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are around the corner - and for many it's a time for personal reflection. But this year it's no longer just the Jews who get to reflect - now everyone gets to feel equally guilty. A creative initiative is coming to the UK, fresh from the US, that combines an age-old ritual with the digital revolution. The 10Q Project asks participants to answer a question emailed daily between the two festivals. It's a bit like New Year Resolutions - but with a follow-up reminder a year later ...
