The World Health Organisation has awarded its Art and Tobacco Cessation account, worth pounds 62,500, to the Janice Muir Partnership after a five-way pitch. The account, ’If you want to quit ask how’, will involve a UK-wide programme publicising the WHO’s partnership with 20 European artists who have created work on the theme of giving up smoking. The artworks will be displayed as posters in GP surgeries and other primary care outlets. The campaign is aimed at health professionals as well as the general public. It starts in September.
