Pace has called in the technology-focused agency on a retained basis to boost its profile in the UK.

The brief is understood to be Hotwire’s biggest win this year and was picked up after a competitive pitch.

Hotwire will target the broadcast industry in an attempt to position the Yorkshire-based technology brand as a leader in moulding the future of the home entertainment market.

Hotwire managing director Brendon Craigie said the PR strategy would aim to position Pace as a recognised industry voice.

Craigie said: ‘Hotwire’s key strategy is to promote thought leadership pieces through the trade media and tell the Pace story as one that enables the connected home – the next frontier in the broadcast arena. It’s about helping Pace to engage with the broadcast industry.’

The company is a leading developer of digital TV technologies for the global pay-TV industry.

Based in Saltaire, Yorkshire, Pace employs more than 1,200 people globally in countries including France, India, China and the US.

Hotwire will begin work on the account with immediate effect.
