Senior market: Doro mobile phones
The consumer PR shop has been drafted in after a closed pitch process to handle media and analyst relations, live events and social media activity for the firm.
Doro UK has recently engaged in its first TV advertising campaign to support sales of its portfolio of easy-to-use mobile phones. Doro’s new TV adverts will air across major UK channels including ITV1, ITV3 and Five during the coming weeks.
The phones have large buttons, simple menu and large, clear displays for ease of use. Doro has a retail agreement with Orange in the UK.
Stu Campbell, MD at Fire PR, will lead the account team of five. He said: ‘Our programme will be based on the clearly defined lifestyle needs of the senior consumer and the modern-day family - most of whom have mature family or friends. The underlying objective is to drive mainstream awareness and support sales.’
The agency has previously worked with Doro on a project basis.
