BORDER LINES: KUALA LUMPUR - H&K lands Y2K contract

Hill and Knowlton has been appointed to handle Y2K crisis management for the Malaysian government, tendered by the National Y2K Project Team. The project will run until March next year, with a team of five consultants on call on 31 December, and covering further potential computer bugs during the first three months in 2000 because of date sensitivities during the leap year. Hill and Knowlton Malaysia managing director Julia Ahmad will lead the crisis team.
