Almost 60% of global journalists believe that their content has improved with the rise of digital media, according to a recent survey. Only 3% claimed it had got a lot worse.

Around 48% said their publication offered journalist authored blogs on their site, while 40% had Twitter channels.

Staggeringly, there was an 8% decrease in publications using online TV and video clips as part of their digital content since last year, with the survey reporting 39% this year compared with 47% in 2009.

The report was compiled by the Oriella PR Network and surveyed more than 750 journalists worldwide from 21 countries.
