Tiger Savage, the deputy creative director and head of art at M&C Saatchi, has quit the agency after 11 years to start her own business. Called Tiger's Eye, the venture is a brand and ad consultancy specialising in the luxury beauty and fashion sector. (Campaign)

Marketing

Sainsbury's is to recruit a board-level marketing director after moving Gwyn Burr, its incumbent marketing chief, to the role of customer service and colleague director. Burr’s internal move follows a wider restructure at the retailer, which included the promotion of Mike Coupe, trading director, to the role of group commercial director. (Marketing)

Freeview has hired BBC marketer Sue Leach as its marketing communications director. Leach will replace Tim Hunt, who left the digital TV provider in March to become marketing director at Project Canvas. (Marketing)

Skype director of consumer marketing, Juliet Blackburn, has left the business after just six months in the role. Blackburn took up the post following nine years at brand-agency inter­mediary AAR. (Marketing)

Media

Andy Zonfrillo, the head of Mindshare's Exchange trading unit in the UK, has been appointed global head of pricing at the agency's parent company, Group M. Based in London, he will report to Group M's head of trading, Jurgen Blomenkamp. (Campaign)

Starcom MediaVest (SMG) has appointed Rian Carstens to the role of group search director. Carstens will oversee both SMG UK’s paid and natural search teams, as well as bolstering search best practice across the EMEA region. (Campaign)

Taxi Media, the specialist out-of-home company, has appointed JCDecaux account director Laura Thompson to the new role of head of agency sales, and promoted Lucie Smallwood to head of trading. (Media Week)

JCDecaux Airport, the outdoor media owner, has appointed former Titan Outdoor group head Nicola Armitage to the role of head of agency sales. Armitage will report to Alan Sullivan, sales director of JCDecaux Airport. (Media Week)

City AM, the free business newspaper, has promoted deputy sales director Harry Owen to the new role of commercial director. Owen, who previously worked at Express Newspapers, has worked at City AM since its launch in 2005. (Media Week)
