MEDIA: BRIEFS - Fox Kids Europe appoints internet head

Television channel Fox Kids Europe has appointed Natalie Hugh as managing director of internet and new-media operations. The channel aims to become the leading internet gateway for children in Europe. The appointment is a signal that Fox Kids aims to expand on-line. It currently has six localised sites in the UK, Poland, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Scandinavia.

They offer information, entertainment and interaction, and target
children from two to 14. Hugh joins from Discovery Communications, where
she was director of business development.
