Washbag.com launched today (22 June) and aims to offer its male customers a better experience when it comes to researching and purchasing grooming, cosmetics, health and beauty products.

It will offer free delivery, which The Hut Group hopes, will help it become one of the largest online retailers within the male-grooming market in the next 12 months.

In April, The Hut Group secured £14m from investors including former chief executive of clothing retailer Matalan, Angus Monro, to fund the group’s expansion plans.

The Hut Group commercial director, Richard Chapple, said: "The exciting launch of washbag.com is a further step in our expansion, both organically and through acquisition, in to a broad range of fast-moving consumer sectors including health and beauty, sports, footwear, fashion and toys."

The new site follows the launch of Gifted.com, after a six-month trial period of selling a broad range of gifting products.
