Media Safari has been retained by Otto Bock Healthcare, a company which specialises in mobility solutions for people who have lost limbs or suffered a stroke.
The agency is the firm's first external PR support and Media Safari was awarded the account following a competitive pitch.
Part of the agency's brief will be to focus on increasing awareness of Otto Bock's range of mobility products for rediscovering personal independence.
The campaign will aim to convey the benefits of assistive technologies for getting patients ‘back to where they once were', following a debilitating illness such as a stroke or the loss of a limb.
Otto Bock's range of solutions includes a new mind-controlled arm. The prosthetic arm was developed following a four-year research project and can be controlled by a patient in real time using only the power of their mind.
Media Safari director of healthcare PR Georgina Wright will head the account, and said: ‘We will be communicating to the clinical, disability community and wider consumer audiences on how advances in assistive solutions lead to greater mobility. This helps individuals to regain confidence and improve the patient's overall wellbeing.'
The brief involves positioning Otto Bock as an established supplier of high-quality mobility solutions within disability trade and consumer media.
