LONDON - David Cameron is declared the winner of the final leaders TV debate across today's press, aside from the Daily Mirror, which has sent up the Tory leader in the style of a detergent ad, offering "New improved spin".

The Guardian headlines "Cameron wins third leg" alongside results of a Guardian/ICM poll which shows Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg falling back into third place.

The Sun boasts a "breakfast election special" offering "scrambled Clegg and toast, but Cameron's full of beans".

The Times calls the party leaders "Britain's job seekers" and reports Cameron and Clegg are "neck and neck".

The Daily Express reports "Cameron on the threshold of Downing Street" and The Daily Telegraph puts "Cameron on the money".

The Daily Star reports "Cameron has Gord on ropes". The Daily Mail headlines "Cameron puts Clegg on the rack" but leads on the teacher cleared in court after fracturing a student's skull.

The Independent avoids the political debate and leads on the worsening oil slick creeping across the US coast line.

The Daily Mirror continues its Lidl give away today, offering £5 off a £30 shop while The Sun is giving away a free bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk.

The Daily Mail promotes "family holidays from £15" starting in tomorrow's paper and Patek Philippe Geneve advertisers designer watches with The Daily Telegraph.
