Jaguar Land Rover has promoted Fiona Pargeter to the position of head of global PR comms, replacing Frank Klaas.

Ruder Finn has hired former Ogilvy executive Dushka Zapata as MD of its US West Coast business, a new role at the agency.

The Society of Actuaries, a professional membership organisation for the study and assessment of financial risk based in Illinois, has hired GolinHarris as its PR agency.

Daniel Jorg, EMEA digital strategist and head of digital literacy at Burson-Marsteller, has moved to Farner Consulting as digital strategist. He also takes a seat on the board of the Zurich-based firm.

The BPRA, the Swiss association of PR agencies, has called for official accreditation and a register of lobbyists of the Swiss government and for agencies to sign up to a code of conduct.

Change.org, the global petition platform, has named Sergius Seebohm as comms director for Germany. He was previously head of comms at One, the campaigning organisation co-founded by U2's Bono.

Waggener Edstrom has been brought in by software security firm AVG Technologies following a pitch. The agency's brief is to implement comms strategy, content and campaigns globally.
