Credit Suisse Asset Management's former CEO David Norman has joined the advisory board of Elephant Communications. Norman, a regular commentator on the City, has spent the past 20 years in leadership roles for a wide range of institutions including Insight Investment, Morley Fund Management, Prudential and Friends Provident. He is currently CEO of TCF Investment.
Buchanan has recruited Louise Mason, formerly head of Walbrook PR's natural resources team, as an account director for its natural resources practice. Meanwhile, Buchanan has been mandated by Toronto and Australia-listed gold firm Endeavour Mining on its $398m (£253m) acquisition of Avion Gold.
Reech AiM Group, the international asset manager, has called in Broadgate Mainland as its retained PR adviser. The group, which has offices in London, Luxembourg and Singapore, has briefed the agency to help the firm's expansion plans.
BNY Mellon, the US banking group, has brought in financial services specialist MRM as its retained PR agency for Newton Investment Management following a competitive pitch process.
Henderson Global Investors has drafted in Teamspirit Public Relations to provide media relations to its investment trust business.
