Joanna Birdsey and Kristine Kelly have been recruited as senior account managers from FTI Consulting and New York-based PR firm Corkery Group respectively.
Sanofi has handed £50,000 to three patient groups - Ataxia UK, Crohn's & Colitis UK and Muscular Dystrophy Campaign - under its Patient Group Bursary scheme. Sanofi created the scheme in 2011 and received 100 applications this year.
The Blurt Foundation, a mental health charity, is using social network Pinterest to describe what it is like to suffer from depression. The charity is encouraging supporters via an email campaign to create their own Pinterest board to raise awareness of the illness, which affects one in five people at some point in their lives.
