Flack: Flack in Pictures
prweek.com, Friday, 27 July 2012, 12:00am,
1. Ah, to be a PR professional. Living a life of restrained solitude free from the temptations of alcohol or late nights. And yet here is Sarah Mole, account director at Sister, enjoying a cocktail at St Martin's Courtyard Global Food Festival. Booze. Let's hope it doesn't catch on with the rest of the industry.
2. That Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. Madness, hey? Well no, actually. Rather than the work of irate creationists, this stunt is part of Channel 4's effort to promote its series of programmes on mental health. And yet Flack can't help think that, for a statue that is pretty stationary, a straight jacket is entirely unnecessary. It'll be eggs on faces all round when they realise that one.
3. It seems being in government has gone to Tory heads. At the Fleishman-Hillard-sponsored Parliamentary Rounders event for researchers, the entire Tory team failed to turn up for the main event, with most only making it for the post-match drinks. Of the competing teams, the Lib Dems got their ball stuck in a tree. Insert joke here.
