HIGHLY COMMENDED
Emma LEWIS
Named 'PR Freelancer of the Year 2005' by recruitment company Xchangeteam, Emma Lewis went freelance two years ago after ten years' working in-house for public sector and not-for-profit organisations.
She says: 'I wanted to take a bit of a risk. I'd done a few jobs, spending two or three years in each one, and I wanted to try something a bit more adventurous for the variety.' Since making this decision she has worked for the Mayor of London's Office, the Elizabeth Finn Trust, and helped organise this year's Chinese New Year celebrations in London.
