Lawton eMarketing to redevelop Island Cruises website

LONDON – Lawton eMarketing has been appointed as the online agency for Island Cruises after a pitch involving agencies from both sides of the Atlantic.
The new appointment will see Lawton eMarketing undertake the redevelopment of the Island Cruises website, creating a comprehensive online resource for trade and consumers alike.
The agency's remit is to develop a site that, as well as providing up-to-date information, itineraries and pricing for prospective clients, will also act as a data-capture tool to facilitate the creation of a database for future marketing purposes. To meet trade requirements, an online facility in the form of a dedicated travel agent's portal will also be introduced.
Prospective customers will get the chance to sample the Island Cruise experience with the inclusion of a virtual tour. The introduction of an online cruise planner and price calculator will make the complicated process of pricing a cruise plain sailing. Consumers will also be able to opt-in to receive special offers via email and order brochures online.
Andy Furlong, Island Cruises' marketing manager, said: "We were very impressed with Lawton eMarketing's extensive knowledge and understanding of the digital marketplace. Island Cruises provides a fresh, new concept in the onboard cruising experience and we want to convey this to all our audiences."
