City University London is launching the Information, Communication and Society MSc for graduates to learn how to use digital materials such as social networking sites as effective comms tools.
Vesna Bujic-Okretic, head of City University’s department of information science, said: ‘If you are a PR expert, understanding the technology and its potential within your own brief is much in demand.’
In addition to Twitter, the course will focus on sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Wikipedia. The course begins in September and is aimed at political campaigners, PR professionals, marketers and tech analysts.
