Jackie Cooper Public Relations has bagged a global

communications contract for the world’s best-selling liqueur

Baileys Irish Cream.

The campaign, commissioned by the brand’s Dublin-based

international marketing outfit R and A Bailey, also includes its

Sheridan’s and Godot liqueurs.

Worth over pounds 100,000 in fees, the drive will cover Britain,

France, Italy, Spain, Germany, North America, Australia, Russia

and the Far East.

R and A Bailey, a subsidiary of drinks giant IDV, has already

hired Lowe Howard Spink to run a global advertising campaign.

Jackie Cooper will link up with its roster of associate agencies

in, for example, Milan and New York, to support the advertising

drive.

It will also execute its own ’Wonderbra-style’ PR programme using

celebrities and promotional stunts as well as media

relations.

Rather than a single campaign for all three brands, the programme

will be done ’brand by brand’.

The agency will report to R and A Bailey PR manager Peter O’

Connor and international marketing director Frank Fenn.
