Virgo Health builds education team with new appointments

Virgo Health has strengthened its health education team with the appointments of Katherine Mantell and Adam Pittard.

Mantell joins the agency as editorial director from Acumed, part of the KP360 group. She will be responsible for leading and growing the medical writing team at Virgo Health Education. She has over 10 years experience in creating global strategic communication plans and tactical delivery of various education programmes across a range of therapy areas including oncology, diabetes, CNS (schizophrenia, depression) and multiple sclerosis.

Mantell is joined by Pittard as a senior account manager. He will be responsible for delivering both medical education and PR programmes. He joins from Solaris Health and also previously work in the client service team at Medical Action Communications.

The new additions are in response to the rapid growth the Virgo Health Education division has experienced in the last 12 months. Virgo joint CEO said: ‘These appointments reinforce the commitment we made last year to making Virgo a market leading medical communications partner.'
