IT specialist agency Image Time has won a contract to handle PR
including media relations and promotions for Olivetti Lexikon, the
office equipment division of Olivetti. Image managing director Myriam
Koppel said the agency was the only firm approached for the year-long
nationwide contract, which started on 1 March and is worth fees of
around pounds 80,000. This is the first time Lexikon, which has an
in-house PR team, has outsourced its PR activities.
The agency will target business and consumer audiences. Lexicon’s parent
firm, Olivetti, is currently in takeover talks with former state-run
telecommunications company Telecom Italia. Other Image Time clients in
Italy include IBM, Oracle and Logitech.
