Newspaper Licensing Agency launches specialist licence for small PR agencies

The Newspaper Licensing Agency has launched a licence for the media monitoring requirements of small PR agencies.

The introductory PR licence will be available from next month.

The licence has been specifically designed for smaller PR agencies, with up to five staff and up to three clients, who find the standard NLA licence unsuitable.

The new licence will give agencies the right to supply copies of newspaper content to their clients for a simple flat fee per client.

NLA managing director David Pugh said: ‘We are pleased to offer a cost-effective copyright  solution for smaller PR agencies wishing to supply newspaper content to their clients. The charge, a flat fee of £150 per year, per client, addresses the needs of agencies for a no nonsense, straightforward and cost-effective solution, which means they and their clients are copyright compliant.'
