BORDER LINES: FRANKFURT - Celanese hunts for agency

Celanese, a subsidiary of German chemicals giant Hoechst, is seeking a PR agency to handle corporate and business-to-business PR as it prepares for flotation. The company does not currently employ an agency. The brief will initially focus on PR in Germany. Celanese is the second largest company within the group after its pharmaceutical arm, Hoechst Marion Roussel. The company has recently been expanding its communications department in anticipation of its flotation. In July it recruited Wilfried Sauer as head of European communications.
