BORDER LINES: TAIPEI - Liao heads Shandwick’s Taiwan arm

Shandwick Asia has appointed Lume Liao as the new MD of the agency’s Taiwan office. Liao joins from Hill and Knowlton in Taipei, where she was deputy MD for a year. She will report to Shandwick Asia chief executive, Charles Lankester, and oversee the Taipei office’s ten-strong team. The accounts she will work on include Mastercard, Chrysler and SmithKline Beecham. Liao replaces Vivian Fung, who has left for personal reasons.

Shandwick Asia has appointed Lume Liao as the new MD of the

agency’s Taiwan office. Liao joins from Hill and Knowlton in Taipei,

Before joining H&K, Liao was vice president of marketing for cable and

satellite movie channel HBO.
