Factory Media is a significant player in the action sports media market in Europe. It publishes 16 digital and 13 consumer magazine brands. It also serves over four million consumers across the snowboard, mountain bike, surf, BMX, windsurfing, skateboard, motocross and cycling markets.

The win will see Braben create and deliver a strategic B2B PR strategy designed to communicate the access Factory Media has to the lifestyle market, particularly through its digital portal MPORA.com.

Factory Media managing director Darryl Newton said: 'Over the past few years Factory Media has become the definitive European resource for action sports fans. Our media offering has become a haven for brands and retailers seeking to engage with a passionate, committed lifestyle audience. Braben will help us communicate this unique focus to the market.'

Factory Media will join Braben's media and sports business, which includes recent new business wins with Red Bee Media, Sportpost.com and the Financial Times.
