BRUSSELS: Euromat, the trade association for European manufacturers

of arcade games, has chosen European Strategy to manage its secretariat,

including all its PR and lobbying, on a six figure fee.

This is the first time Euromat has outsourced its Brussels

representation.

European Strategy has been briefed to lobby for the introduction of a

two-euro coin, alongside planned one-euro coins and notes.

European Strategy’s three-strong account team will be led by agency

deputy managing director Maurits Bruggink, who reports to association

president Eduardo Santoja.

Bruggink said: ’Euromat is concerned that the euro will be introduced

smoothly, and that coins be distributed with the same quality and

quantity across Europe.’
