STOP PRESS: Coca-Cola judged the most valuable brand

Corporate brands Microsoft, IBM, Disney and AT&T are among the ten most valuable brands, according to a global survey released by The Interbrand Group this week. The table, topped by Coca-Cola with a brand value of pounds 52 billion, is the first to put a value on corporate brands. The economic profit generated by the brand is determined by examining the future earnings it is expected to generate, the role of the brand in generating those earnings and the risk profile of the earnings.
