Peter Wilkinson is leaving his post as a press officer at 10 Downing Street after more than three years in the role to head a new media relations unit dedicated to genetically-modified foods within the Cabinet Office, where he will be a chief press officer. Wilkinson has not yet negotiated his start date yet.
