PUBLIC SECTOR: Barnard leaves Barnet for autism society

Barnet Council’s head of marketing and public affairs Judith Barnard is to leave the council to join the National Autistic Society as communications head at the beginning of June. The council will not fill the post, but will recruit a public affairs head who, like Barnard, will oversee 12 staff in press, PR and marketing, and will have an additional responsibility for a further 15 people working in print, translation and public consultation.
