For the first time PR Week readers are being asked to nominate the
PR professional of the Year and the European Communicator of the year
for the 1999 PR Week Awards.
The European Communicator category is open to individuals from EU
countries who may, or may not, be a PR professional but have
demonstrated outstanding communications expertise in terms of their
ability to reach audiences in more than one European country. In the PR
Professional of the Year category judges will be looking for evidence of
outstanding personal contribution to the PR industry.
Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated. Judges will take
into account achievements during the period covered by the Awards
(August 1998 - July 1999), as well as career achievements to date.
Nominations should be submitted by post to PR Week or e-mail
(firstname.lastname@example.org). A prize draw will be taken from the entries on 9
July and the winner will receive a magnum of champagne.
