Royal Bank Invoice Finance, the invoice finance arm of the Royal Bank of Scotland, has appointed Lawson Dodd as its first PR agency.

Royal Bank Invoice Finance, the invoice finance arm of the Royal

Bank of Scotland, has appointed Lawson Dodd as its first PR agency.

The agency, which won the account in a non-competitive pitch, will

concentrate on promoting invoice finance for larger companies in the

national business press, specialist finance and accountancy magazines

and the regional media.

Invoice finance involves advancing money to clients based on the face

value of their outstanding invoices.

The agency will also advise Royal Bank Invoice Finance on the likely

impact of the European single currency on collecting invoices

abroad.

Lawson Dodd director Joanna Dodd will head the account.

Peter Hannant, marketing manager of Croydon-based Royal Bank Invoice

Finance, said: ’We’re confident that Lawson Dodd will deliver a sound,

results-orientated media relations campaign.’

Royal Bank Invoice Finance provides its services to large, medium and

small businesses and is increasingly supporting management buy-outs and

buy-ins alongside its traditional invoice financing function.

The organisation’s clients include National Railway Supplies, the former

arm of British Rail, which oversees signalling systems.
