Oxford Molecular, the company that supplies IT systems to
pharmaceutical and biotech companies, has switched its financial PR
account from Citigate Communications to Square Mile Communications.
Square Mile handled financial PR for Oxford Molecular’s flotation in
1994 but the account was switched to Citigate. Square Mile’s team won
the account back in a competitive pitch earlier this month. The account
will be led by agency chairman Tim Jackaman.
Oxford Molecular was formed 10 years ago and is now worth around pounds
110 million. Square Mile aims to build its profile in the City. Shares
in the company recently dropped after it was revealed that drug
companies were delaying signing large orders.
Square Mile is attempting to build its IT portfolio and recently won
business from electronic commerce supplier Infobank.
