Investment bank Goldman Sachs is looking to appoint a PR agency in

Italy.

The bank, which has previously used Shandwick, is seeing six

consultancies and hopes to make a decision next week. David Woods,

director of media relations for Goldman Sachs International in London,

said the chosen agency would manage an ’active’ media campaign to help

reinforce the bank’s presence in Italy. He added that Goldman Sachs was

also close to appointing a PR manager in Frankfurt to replace Jurgen

Langen, who left last October after two years on secondment from

Shandwick.
