STOP PRESS: Labour continues hunt for media director

The Labour Party is seeking a new media communications director following the departure of acting media head Mike Craven to form his own lobbying firm earlier this month (PR Week, 6 November). The post was advertised last summer after the departure of David Hill to Bell Pottinger, but failed to attract candidates of a sufficient calibre. The director will oversee the party’s press office, media monitoring and attack and rebuttal units.
