Shandwick Consultants director Charles Skeeles is moving to China to run
Shandwick’s operations there.
Skeeles, 36, is being seconded to Shandwick China as CEO from 1
November. Based in Shanghai, he will report to Michael Murphy, managing
director of Shandwick Asia Pacific.
Skeeles said he aimed to double the size of Shandwick China within a
year. It currently employs around 15 people in two offices in Shanghai
and Beijing, and includes BA and Mastercard among its clients.
Apart from new business, Skeeles said he hoped to encourage cross-
fertilisation from Shandwick’s existing client base.
During his seven years at Shandwick Consultants, Skeeles has specialised
in international business. Latterly he has led on clients such as
Mondex, the Falkland Islands, NTT and CETRA.
