Mission Media appointed to promote Look magazine fashion event

Mission Media has been called in by publishing company IPC Media to promote an event for its fashion title Look.

The weekly magazine is launching a fashion show at London's Saatchi Gallery next month as part of the London Fashion Week calendar. It will be the only fashion show open to consumers during the fashion week.

The 24-model runway show will see 14 retailers showcase their Spring/Summer collections.

Mission has been appointed to promote the show and organise the event.

Hair will be styled by London Fashion Week official haircare sponsor TONI&GUY, while agency Elite London will provide the models.

Look editor Ali Hall said: 'Look is about making fashion accessible to all women, so we are really excited to be the first magazine to make London Fashion Week relevant for our readers. London Fashion Week often inspires the fashion that we see every day on the high street. Now it's the high street's turn to flaunt its unique style with the kind of exclusive collection preview we know our fans will love.'

The event will support the Look Good... Feel Better charity, an organisation created to boost the confidence of women suffering from cancer. At the Look Show, goody bags will be available to buy with the proceeds going to the charity.
