The British Skin Foundation hires the ASA's Erkal-Paler as trustee

The British Skin Foundation has appointed the current director of communications, policy and marketing at the Advertising Standards Authority as its newest trustee.

Esra Erkal-Paler's new role at the national skin disease research charity will be effective immediately.

Erkal-Paler has previously worked at agencies such as Shandwick International, Ketchum Life and Burson-Marsteller.

Focussing on consumer health, she spent two years at Unilever as head of corporate affairs in 1999. She was also appointed director of corporate communications and external affairs for L'Oreal UK and Ireland in 2001 before moving onto her current role in 2008 at the ASA.
