Hi-tech specialist agency Lewis has won a five-way pitch to handle

pan-European PR for computer disk and video firm Memtek. The account

will be led out of the UK and is worth a six-figure fee.

Memtek’s PR in its key European markets - the UK, France and Germany -

was previously handled on a country-by-country basis, but the firm has

decided to consolidate all of its PR into a single agency.

Lewis will concentrate on promoting video brand Memorex and floppy

diskette brand Dysan, respectively targeting consumer and

business-to-business audiences.

Lewis founder, Chris Lewis, who will be leading the account said: ’This

is about reestablishing two quite well-known brands.’
