Citigate Dewe Rogerson is seeking a director to head its corporate

PR arm following its merger with Dewe Rogerson last year.

The new recruit will be charged with forging a separate identity for the

agency’s corporate PR offering within the financial and corporate PR

unit which was created in the merger.

The decision follows the departure of two of the firm’s remaining senior

corporate PR staff, associate directors Steffan Williams and Lawrence

Dore, last week (PR Week, 12 February).

The new director will report to Citigate Dewe Rogerson chairman Jonathan

Clare and oversee the handling of corporate clients like the Millennium

Commission, NatWest Equity Partners, Lovell White Durrant and

PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The post will oversee a team of 12.

Clare said: ’We’re looking for a top flight director to generate new

business and develop new products. We’re committed to building a premier

corporate PR unit within Citigate Dewe Rogerson.’

Citigate’s former CEO Simon Brocklebank-Fowler, who used to head a

corporate division for Citigate left the agency just before the merger.
