Kate Zadah has launched Mantelpiece PR after spending three years at lifestyle PR agency Halpern PR.

Zadah was previously an associate director at the agency and worked on Halpern's health and beauty clients including Molton Brown, Avon and pharma firm Boehringer Ingelheim. She managed a team of six at the firm.

‘Mantlepiece PR will focus solely in the health and beauty sector and I won't be deviating,' said Zadah. ‘It might be risky in a recession, one may think, but I am not seeing any sign of a lack of potential new business contracts in the healthy beauty field.'

Zadah has already signed up The X Factor's chief make-up artist Jackie Tyson as a client. Others include Thepromakeupshop.com and The Safe Beauty Association.

Zadah also previously worked at Munro & Forster on the agency's Kellogg's and Pfizer accounts.
