PR EUROPE: BRUSSELS: Industry mourns Greet Elewaut

The Belgian PR industry is mourning the death of one of its best-known practitioners, Greet Elewaut. A senior consultant and partner at PRP for six years, Elewaut was killed - along with four other Belgian tourists - by bandits near the Eritrean village of Filfil two weeks ago. Elewaut worked for a range of clients at PRP and led the agency’s Flemish consultants.

The Belgian PR industry is mourning the death of one of its

best-known practitioners, Greet Elewaut. A senior consultant and partner

at PRP for six years, Elewaut was killed - along with four other Belgian

tourists - by bandits near the Eritrean village of Filfil two weeks ago.

Elewaut worked for a range of clients at PRP and led the agency’s

Flemish consultants.



Fellow partner Jacques Lechat said: ’She was a friend for 20 years and

she had a tremendous energy and enthusiasm which we will miss.’
