The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) has appointed

Warwick-based PR Support to handle its media relations and press office

functions.

The agency won the account from incumbent Stuart Hislop Editorial

Services, in a competitive four-way pitch. PR Support managing director

Jane Grant will lead the account team.

The agency will run the NAEA press office and handle all national and

trade press relations. The NAEA represents individuals in the

residential property market. The agency will also handle PR surrounding

the publication next month of a Government white paper on the

house-buying process and the issue of industry self-regulation.

The NAEA has more than 9,000 members representing 60 per cent of UK

residential estate agency offices. It is pushing for a change in

property law to give more protection to the buyer.
