STOP PRESS: C4 studentship tribute to Griffin-Beale

Channel 4 is to set up a paid studentship in PR in memory of the station’s founding press officer, Chris Griffin-Beale. In a memorial service this week for Griffin-Beale, who died in May, the press office announced that it plans to have talks with institutions that run PR courses to agree how best to set up the studentship. Channel 4’s offer is to train and pay a PR student for an as yet undefined period of time to work in its press office.
