The agency, which is one of the top IT PR advisers in the US, revealed
plans earlier this year to open a branch in central London (PR Week, 7
February). Based in San Francisco, Copithorne and Bellows is part of
Omnicom’s Porter Novelli International group. It already has an office
in France but is keen to tap into the booming UK hi-tech sector.
Details about the new outfit remain unclear, but it is understood that
Moran will lead a small team to handle work for existing Copithorne and

report to international managing director David Schneider in France.
Moran worked at Spec for less than a year where she assisted chief
executive Bill Penn in managing the 14-strong agency. Before that she
was head of Grayling’s technology division.
